Why video is not optional now

The clips are the marketing.

An audio only episode lives inside a podcast app and reaches the people already looking for you. The same conversation on camera becomes thirty vertical clips that go where nobody was looking for you at all. That is the entire difference in how fast a show grows.

It also costs almost nothing extra at the moment of recording. The cameras are already in the room. Deciding to shoot video is a decision you make once, and the alternative is wishing you had.

What is in the room

Cameras that were already pointed at you.

Single or multi cam

Add video to any session. Multi cam gives you angles to cut between, which is what makes an hour long conversation watchable rather than static.

Canon and Aputure

Proper cameras and proper lighting, not a webcam and a ring light. Lighting is most of why some video looks expensive and some does not.

Livestream if you want it

Stream straight out to YouTube, Facebook or LinkedIn from the room, then keep the recording and cut it up afterwards.

After the shoot

One hour in, a month of posts out.

The full episode gets cut for YouTube, and the moments worth pulling become vertical clips for the platforms where people scroll. Most clients get more reach from the clips than from the episode itself, which surprises them every time.

Video and clips are included in Podcast Pro at $5,000 over 90 days, alongside ten fully edited episodes, website and branding. Video can also be added to a single $300 session if you just want to see how it looks.
